GULLS WARNING SIGNS

Gulls of St Ives you have been warned:  the Town Council are out to thwart your desire for a free lunch again this year by erecting these large notices warning visitors to the town to be aware of the danger of consuming food without taking precaution to shield if from the ever watchful gull as they increase their swooping activities for a free ice cream or pasty as the tourist season gets under way.  The public awareness signs have been going up all over the town this week from car parks to beaches and along the Wharf in an attempt to  minimise swooping for food by the gull population.  Pictured are Councillor Ron Tulley (left) and Councillor Colin Sanger who were responsible for putting out the signage.
