The Mayor and her consort, Yvonne and Terry Watson, were pleased to lead the first ever St Piran’s Day Parade through St Ives on Saturday 5 March 2011. The sun shone on the St Ives Guisers who led with music and dancing, followed by town councillors and Andrew George MP (and his dog, keeping with the black and white theme, representatives from town organisations and people who took part simply because they are proud of their links with St Ives and Cornwall.
