The Town Council were delighted to be able to launch the brand new Visitor and Information Centre for St Ives and the surrounding area.
The Visitor and Information Centre will give advice and information to residents and tourists alike, answering enquiries about events, accommodation, attractions, places to visit and much more. St Ives September Festival tickets are also available to buy from the Visitor and Information Centre.
Businesses, restaurants and accommodation providers attended the launch event on 10 June and have already been enthusiastic about joining as members or advertisers.
As the staff are able to make accommodation bookings, V&IC members will benefit from increased publicity and bookings throughout the year.
Business advertisers will have preferential display space within the V&IC itself and the opportunity for leaflet display alongside posters.
Anyone wanting to join as a member or advertiser are encouraged to do so as soon as possible to make the most of the 2011/2012 season.
