 WORKING PARTY

With the management of the Guildhall Concert Hall bookings now under the control of St Ives Town Council, volunteers got to work earlier this week to ensure that it was clean, with some areas also getting a fresh coat of paint, in readiness for the thousands of concertgoers who will flood into the hall during the two weeks long September Festival which gets underway on 10th September.

Assisting St Ives Town Councillors earlier this week were members of the recently formed FOG (Friends of the Guildhall).  Pictured in the bar area under the stage with Councillor Tamsyn Williams (1st left) and Councillor Bill Fry and Councillor Tim Andrews (1st & 2nd right) are left to right FOG members Gill Cooke, Dave Brotherton (chair of the Festival committee) and Tim Feltwell
